Caring for polished quartzite
Quartzite is harder than marble and generally resists etching from everyday acidic spills, but it is still a porous natural stone. Seal it after installation, wipe spills promptly and clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner. On a polished finish, any etch marks show more clearly, so wipe spills quickly.
Where it works
Taj Mahal Quartzite suits kitchen benchtops and islands, splashbacks, vanities and feature walls. Pattern and colour change from block to block, so this description and photo apply to Block 1886 specifically.
