Travertine is a natural strong building material used in Italy for centuries, from the ancient Roman times until now and continues to be the most used natural stone in contemporary Architecture and Design.
Its surface is characterized for its strength and its naturally occurring pitted holes that can be filled, semi-filled, polished or left raw.
Looking closely the vein moves as a horizon faraway blurred land or seascape, reminiscent of the warm deserts and the cool sandy beaches in Australia. The colour palette of this spectacular stone varies from the beige subtle warm and rich earthy tones, to the grey moody silvery tones intertwined and contrasted with darker browns tones constantly moving and fading into the unknown meeting with the dense multiple layers of earth into an infinite colour combination.
Application: Interior and Exterior, walls, Flooring, Fireplaces, countertops, Bathrooms etc. It is also a great option for patio and pool surround as it does not retain heat.
