Description
Block 1915 is a leathered Four Seasons Quartzite slab and is in stock in Sydney. Fragmented stone of rounded and angular pieces in grey, lilac and cream, with dark charcoal-purple blobs scattered through it. A small green oval sits at the upper left, and the pieces are held in a grey matrix. Quartzite is a natural stone made mostly of quartz grains fused together under heat and pressure.

Caring for leathered quartzite
Quartzite is harder than marble and generally resists etching from everyday acidic spills, but it is still a porous natural stone. Seal it after installation, wipe spills promptly and clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner. A leathered finish is good at hiding fingerprints and water spots.
