Description
Block 2017 is a honed Taj Mahal Quartzite slab and is in stock in Sydney. Light grey base with broader soft grey diagonal streaks pointing up and to the right. Fine white crystalline lines cross the surface. Quartzite is a natural stone made mostly of quartz grains fused together under heat and pressure.

Caring for honed quartzite
Quartzite is harder than marble and generally resists etching from everyday acidic spills, but it is still a porous natural stone. Seal it after installation, wipe spills promptly and clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner. A honed finish shows etch marks and scratches less than a polished one.

Taj Mahal Quartzite suits busy kitchens (benchtops, islands and splashbacks) as well as vanities and feature walls. Every block of natural stone is different, so the pattern you see on Block 2017 is the pattern you get.
