Caring for honed dolomite
Dolomite is a little harder than marble, but acids such as lemon juice and vinegar can still etch it and spills can stain if left. Seal it after installation, wipe spills promptly and clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner. A honed finish shows etch marks and scratches less than a polished one.
Where it works
Super White Dolomite suits kitchen benchtops, vanities, feature walls and fireplace surrounds. Every block of natural stone is different, so the pattern you see on Block 1798 is the pattern you get.
