Description
Cool blue-grey base with a network of darker grey fine veins crossing diagonally and forming loose angular cells. Soft cloudy shading in lighter grey sits between the veins. Medium contrast. This is Block 1754 of Super White Dolomite, with a honed finish. Dolomite is a natural stone made mostly of the mineral dolomite; it looks like marble and is a little harder. It is in stock in Sydney.

Caring for honed dolomite
Dolomite is a little harder than marble, but acids such as lemon juice and vinegar can still etch it and spills can stain if left. Seal it after installation, wipe spills promptly and clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner. A honed finish shows etch marks and scratches less than a polished one.
Where it works
Super White Dolomite suits vanities, feature walls and kitchen benchtops. No two blocks are alike: the veining shown here belongs to Block 1754 only.
